Bando
Aug 20, 1936 — Dec 8, 2023
Bando, Anthony V. - Of Medford, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 8, 2023. He was 87.
Born in Quincy. He was the son of the late Anthony and Doris (Smith) Bando. Anthony had strong family values. His family was his world, he would always tell everyone how proud he was of his children and especially his grandchildren. Hearing his grandchildren call his name would always bring a smile to his face. Family traditions were important to him. So every year the Bando family would pack up and go on vacation to York Beach. This tradition is still being passed down to each generation after him. Anthony enjoyed to golf, and watching any sports teams that were not Boston related. He was an active man who enjoyed jogging around town. He also jogged in the Doc Linsky Road Race with his son. Cars were another passion of his. He always took the best care of his cars. They were always pristine as if they just came off the show room floor, no matter how old they were. On his down time, he enjoyed a glass of wine while listening to some Frank Sinatra. Anthony's love for his family was deep and he will be greatly missed.
