Andree Doricent of Somerville, MA, formerly of Haiti, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was 85 years old.

Born and raised in Haiti, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lutanor Doricent and Leneide Laine.

Andree was a college teacher's assistant in Haiti prior to immigrating to the United States. She came to the United States and settled in Somerville; she worked at Marion Manor nursing home in housekeeping. Andree was a member of the Legion of Mary, the largest apostolic organization in the Catholic Church.

Andree was the dear sister of Herbert Doricent of Georgia, sister of the late Pierre Doricent and of the late Sr. Simone Doricent. Andree is also survived by a loving nephew and many nieces.

Visitation will be held in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, MA on Saturday, April 26th from 9:00am to 10:00am followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00am. Relatives and friends may visit with the family prior to mass from 9:00am to 10:00am.

Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Arlington.
