Life Legacy
Lynch, Peter R. Jr.--68, A lifelong resident of Somerville died suddenly on June 8, 2012.
Peter was the beloved husband of Marie E. (McColgan) Lynch and devoted father of Kathleen A. Sheridan and her husband Richard of Norton, Patricia M. Polleys and her husband Philip of Tewksbury, Deborah J. Forestell and her husband Brendan of Somerville. Peter was the cherished Grandpa of Sara, Peter, Kevin and Rachael Sheridan, AnnaMarie and Andrew Polleys, his anticipated granddaughter Felicity Forestell and the late Penelope, Griffin, and Rosalie Forestell.
Peter was a veteran of the USAF, Vietnam War Era. He was a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham and had a long career as an accountant working for A&P Stores as well as The Lowell Stationary Company. He was also employed for a time at Boston Closet Company.
The funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville on Wednesday morning, June 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church in Somerville at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 12, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
