Life Legacy
Helen J. (Phelan) Williams--76, A lifelong resident and homemaker of Somerville passed away on April 29, 2012 after a long illness.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late John P. Williams and the loving mother Dorothy R. Freeman of North Hampton, NH, Donna Lee Green of Londonderry, NH, John P. Williams, Mary E.Williams Killoren and Donald W. Williams all of Somerville. She was the sister of Dorothy Phelan Barnes of Somerville and the dear grandmother of Jonathan P. Williams. Helen is also survived by 6 other grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter.
Funeral services are private.
Mrs. Williams was a waitress in her younger years for Mt. Vernon Restaurant in Somerville and Durgin Park in Boston. She also owned the former Ambassador Brattle Taxi Company.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
