Life Legacy
White, John J., Sr. “Jack”--58, A lifelong resident of Somerville passed away on April 12, 2012 after a short illness.
Jack was the beloved Husband of Ann M. (Glynn) and the loving son of Alfred J. “Buddy” White II of Somerville and the late Doris (Mullane). He was the devoted father of Michelle M. Mahoney and her husband Sean, John J. White, Jr. and his wife Kerry all of Somerville. Brother of Alfred J. “Big Al” White III of Revere, Robin E. Donovan of Billerica and the late Daniel White. Jack was also the dear Papa of Madisyn and Breanna Mahoney, and his anticipated granddaughter Maeve.
Mr. White was a retired contractor who had worked for many years at FIL Construction in Malden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville on Tuesday morning April 17, 2012, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Home Service. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jack's name to The Jimmy Fund c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
